JB-4 Resin Embedding Kit

JB-4® is a water-miscible glycerol methacrylate-based embedding medium for the infiltration of histological specimens. Sections 0.5 – 2.0µm can be prepared with good structural detail. It has been successfully used in enzyme histochemistry, immunocytochemistry, immunofluorescence, auto-radiography and in situ hybridisation. Tissue can be fixed in either aqueous or non-aqueous fixatives, dehydrated with either alcohol for routine work, or catalysed monomer to preserve antigenicity or enzyme activity. All processing can be carried out at room temperature or below. Aqueous histological stains may be used.

JB-4 solution B. 30ml Harmful
JB-4 catalyst (Benzoyl peroxide, damped). 12g Oxidising, irritant
